Dehradun, March 27: In a commendable initiative to provide healthcare services to remote areas, Graphic Era organized a free medical camp in Maghgaon (Kwanu), Chakrata, a far-flung village in Dehradun district. A total of 145 villagers benefited from the camp, receiving free medical check-ups and medicines.
The health camp was set up in the Gram Panchayat Bhawan of Maghgaon, where a team of specialist doctors from Graphic Era provided their services. Dr. Yukesh Kumaran (General Medicine), Dr. Mukul Chauhan (Orthopedic Specialist), and Dr. Nitisha Kapoor (Gynecologist) examined the patients and prescribed necessary treatments.
Various medical tests, including general health check-ups, eye tests, blood pressure (BP) checks, and sugar tests, were conducted for the villagers who came from Maghgaon and nearby areas. People suffering from common ailments, joint pain, eye problems, and other health issues were diagnosed and given appropriate treatment.
The villagers expressed their gratitude to Graphic Era for this noble initiative, as they often face challenges in accessing healthcare facilities due to the remoteness of the area and lack of medical infrastructure. The camp provided much-needed medical support to the elderly, women, and children who otherwise have limited healthcare options.
This initiative highlights Graphic Era’s commitment to social responsibility, bringing essential health services to the doorsteps of those in need. Local residents and village representatives urged for such medical camps to be organized regularly, ensuring better health facilities in remote regions.
